I’m Debbie, an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapist (IPT) with over 17 years of experience working in the NHS and running a thriving private practice.
I’m passionate about helping people find meaningful recovery and build lives that feel more balanced, connected, and fulfilling.
I specialise in working with PTSD, depression, stress and worry, but I also support people with the everyday challenges that can make life feel overwhelming. My approach brings together CBT and IPT techniques to help you understand yourself so that you can make positive changes, at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you, helping you move forward with greater confidence, knowledge and self-compassion.
I have a particular interest in attachment theory through the lens of IPT, and I often work with clients who want to explore how their relationships and early experiences may be shaping their current wellbeing. This can be especially helpful when navigating times of loss, change, or difficulty in relationships.

Jay has over twenty-five years’ experience of rehabilitating sporting injuries. Also studying with the Football Association, he initially worked full time with football teams. Currently he is primarily clinic based, but is also Lead Therapist/advisor for various football, rugby, boxing and running clubs. This experience with athletes as well as his Strength and Conditioning badge has helped him to implement the correct treatment / rehabilitation exercise protocols for his patients. However, Jay is not limited to working exclusively with sporting persons as any injury causing discomfort or limiting what a person can achieve during the day is of upmost importance to him. The last few years have seen him work increasingly more with our older population as his passion is to keep these people both active and safe from injury. Alongside his Sports Therapy Qualification Jay also holds the Level 5 Dip in Advanced Sports Massage and will employ these techniques alongside his rehabilitation/exercise prescriptions. He has also completed NAT (Neil Asher Technique) training which leads to a speedier recovery for those patients with shoulder/hip injuries. Jay has also been trained in using therapeutic laser therapy which aids to the recovery of ligament/tendon injuries
